We consider all applicants on an individual basis, welcoming students from all over the world. Minimum academic requirement English language requirement International qualifications Minimum academic requirement 2:1 in any subject. Footnotes Science, engineering or social science subjects are preferred, but other subject areas will be considered. English language requirement All candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to Imperial. For admission to this course, you must achieve the higher university requirement in the appropriate English language qualification. International qualifications We also accept a wide variety of international qualifications. The academic requirement above is for applicants who hold or who are working towards a UK qualification. For guidance see our accepted qualifications though please note that the standards listed are the minimum for entry to Imperial , and not specifically this Department . We are looking to recruit highly motivated candidates with the potential to develop a broad appreciation of all aspects of the management of people, technology, science and policy in relation to environmental issues. Prospective candidates should possess a good honours degree (second class minimum), or comparable international qualification. IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements).

1-2 pages You will need to complete a personal statement as part of your application. These statements support your application by demonstrating that the course is right for you and that you have the skills, knowledge and aptitude to achieve the course requirements. They are normally around one to two pages long. Look at the description of the programme. This should detail the key course requirements, including skills, experiences and technical abilities. Use this description as a guide to the points you address in your statement. You can also talk about how the course fits in with your desired academic progression or career aspirations. You could structure your statement like this: 1、Current studies and how they're useful or relevant 2、Why you chose this course in particular 3、Relevant work experience and skills 4、Extra-curricular activities and interests 5、Why you chose this university 6、Concluding paragraph If you are initially applying to two courses, you can submit two personal statements. You will have two options when submitting your personal statements. You can submit one document with both your first and second choice personal statements (marked clearly with headers). Alternatively, you can submit your first choice personal statement when applying and, should you be unsuccessful, you can then send your second choice personal statement to the appropriate admissions team.
