本课程提供深入研究与临终关怀相关的医疗伦理和法律的机会。学生将发展系统性和批判性思维能力，处理医疗专业人员、管理者和政策制定者在该领域所面临的道德和法律问题。适合从事临终关怀的专业人员或对该领域感兴趣的应届毕业生。课程包括四个授课模块以及一篇论文，学生可以选择感兴趣的主题进行研究。教学以短期、强度集中的模块进行，以便于与全职工作相结合，课程可以灵活地安排为一年、两年或五年学习。（This programme provides an opportunity to undertake in-depth study of healthcare ethics and law relating to palliative and end-of-life care. Students develop the ability to think systematically and critically about the moral and legal issues encountered by healthcare professionals, managers and policymakers in this field. Ideal for working professionals or recent graduates with interests in palliative care, the programme comprises four taught modules plus a dissertation on a topic chosen by the student. Teaching takes place in short, intensive blocks to facilitate combining study with full-time work, and the course may be studied flexibly over one, two or five years.）

- The course is open to all those with either a degree in a relevant subject, or appropriate professional qualifications and/or experience. Applications are welcome from people with a professional or other serious interest in medical ethics and palliative care, including (but not limited to) doctors, nurses, health care managers, intercalating medical students, radiographers, chaplains, charity and voluntary workers, social workers, hospice directors, medical and pharmaceutical researchers, and health care educators. Applicants for whom English is not a first language must provide evidence of a qualification in English language, unless they hold a previous degree that was taught and examined in English. The minimum score for entry to the MA is academic IELTS 6.5 (with no subtest below 5.5) or equivalent.
