SOAS的MA语言学项目关注亚洲、非洲和中东的语言及其使用者，提供语言研究方法的基础，以及从核心理论话题到社会语言学、语言规划和语言复兴等多样的选修模块。该项目适合既有语言学背景又希望扩展相关知识的学生。（The MA Linguistics programme at SOAS focuses on the languages of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as the communities who speak them. It offers students a thorough grounding in linguistic research methods, along with a variety of optional modules covering core theoretical topics to sociolinguistics, language planning, and revitalisation. This programme is suitable for those with little or no previous linguistic training, as well as those with a degree in linguistics who wish to expand their knowledge.）
