该DProf项目结合了授课模块与学生在AU专家指导下进行的研究。授课模块如“研究者领导力”允许学生反思自己的专业经验，并将其应用于研究环境。侧重于定量和定性研究方法的模块为学生提供收集和分析数据所需的技能。‘初步研究’模块允许学生通过设计和分析使用自己研究数据的小型项目来测试其研究技能。（The AU DProf programme combines taught modules with research conducted by students under the supervision of AU staff who have expertise in the topic of study. Taught modules such as ‘Leadership for Researchers’ allow students to reflect on their own professional experience which can then be applied to research settings, while modules focusing on quantitative and qualitative research methods provide students with the skills required to collect and analyse data. The ‘Pilot Study’ module allows students to test their research skills by designing and analysing a small-scale project using their own research data.）
