（The DProf programme combines taught modules with research conducted by students under the supervision of AU staff. Taught modules such as ‘Leadership for Researchers’ allow students to reflect on their own professional experience, which can then be applied to research settings, while modules focusing on quantitative and qualitative research methods provide students with the skills required to collect and analyse data. The ‘Pilot Study’ module allows students to test their research skills by designing and analysing a small-scale project using their own research data. Through work-based research, the DProf in Computer Science equips experienced professionals to harness the power of artificial intelligence, data science, and other emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in industry.)
