艺术专业博士

该专业博士课程结合了授课模块和学生在AU教师的监督下进行的研究。授课模块，如“研究者领导力”，使学生能够反思自己的职业经验，并可以将其应用于研究环境，同时聚焦于定量和定性研究方法的模块为学生提供收集和分析数据所需的技能。“试点研究”模块允许学生通过设计和分析使用自己研究数据的小规模项目来测试他们的研究技能。在学习的第一年，监督团队支持学生完成授课模块，而在第二和第三年，监督者与学生密切合作，进行所选主题领域的研究。艺术学院的DProf主题包括景观与环境、印刷实践、博物馆和画廊实践、社会参与、教育以及其他专业领域。（The DProf programme combines taught modules with research conducted by students under the supervision of AU staff who have expertise in the topic of study. Taught modules such as ‘Leadership for Researchers’ allow students to reflect on their own professional experience which can then be applied to research settings, while modules focusing on quantitative and qualitative research methods provide students with the skills required to collect and analyse data. The ‘Pilot Study’ module allows students to test their research skills by designing and analysing a small-scale project using their own research data. In the first year of study the supervisory team supports students to complete the taught modules, and in the second and third year of study supervisors work closely with students to undertake research on the chosen topic area. DProf topics in the School of Art include subjects such as landscape and the environment, print practice, museums and galleries practices, social engagement, education as well as other professional fields.）
