- Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Computing or any other analytical discipline.Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSApplicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.

- The normal minimum entry requirements are an Honours Degree (2nd class or better) in a discipline with significant Computing, Mathematics or Statistics content. These requirements may be relaxed for applicants holding a qualification or industrial experience of equivalent standard. Where an applicant supports an application with alternative qualifications, the School may wish to arrange an interview to discuss the level of qualification offered and the experience gained in an industrial background.
