Underpinning research and development in many areas of the chemical industry, organic chemistry is vital and drives innovation across diverse sectors, from forensics to food, pharmaceuticals to energy. It aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills in important modern aspects of organic chemistry through advanced lectures, seminars, and laboratory classes relevant to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, specialty, and fine organic chemicals industries. Students will also undertake a comprehensive laboratory research project.）

If not applicable turn toggles off] Applicants will be required to have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 / C or equivalent. If not applicable turn toggles off] Applicants will be required to have a minimum of GCSE Biology or Double Science at Grade 4 / C or equivalent. English Foreign Language Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome.
