This course provides the knowledge required for a range of professional careers within the oil and gas industry. You will gain an understanding of engineering relevant to upstream oil and gas engineering.
It develops professional levels of skill in key subject areas by building on a foundation of first degree level scientific and mathematical skills. Typical students include new graduates and people working in oil and gas companies, energy companies, national oil companies, engineering firms, and project service companies.

- Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in Engineering or a relevant discipline such as Geology, Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics.Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSApplicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.

- Applicants must have a good Honours degree from a UK University or an overseas equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related discipline. Those with other qualifications, but with considerable appropriate industrial experience, may be considered.IELTS 6.5
